By June 14, 2017 No Comments

Monitors health and activity everyday – giving you peace of mind when you need it most

We recently got to check out the Kiddo smart health band for young kids and it seems like it could be a real game changer in monitoring the health of your child.

Making the watches personalizable with fun graphics and preloaded games has children wanting to wear it, and you get to keep track of your children’s health, sleep, eating, and exercise habits.  All of this data is fed back to your phone, giving you peace of mind that everything is OK, and the knowledge that you’ll be alerted if it’s not.

Key Features:

Daily Health Insights: As a parent you want frequent updates on your child’s health, and you can view their activity, stress levels, and sleep quality daily.

Better Lifestyle Habits: You can now have healthy goals to create habits for your children, such as brushing your teeth regularly and eating healthy food.  The children can win free prizes when they regularly achieve these goals!

Fun for the KidsThere are dozens of interchangeable covers, from superhero to sea animal, and many more.  Kids will want to show off these cool designs to all of their friends.  There are also gesture driven games to encourage active behavior, including karaoke, rock paper scissors, controlling the LEDS, and to air play some instruments on Rockband.  This makes it so your child wants to wear the watch and wants to stay active.

The team over at Good Parents Inc have been developing this smart band for the past 2 and a half years.  It all began back in 2014 with the founder coming up with the idea after experiences with his son.  By April 2016 they had a working prototype – and from there everything began to explode.

After an enthusiastic response from individuals at CES in January 2017 with their third prototype, and they are now continuing with a Kickstarter to help them reach mass production by the end of the year.

The Kiddo uses a 4-in-1 sensor, developed in partnership with leading semiconducter companies, in order to measure vital bio-signs.  These measurements include:

  • Skin temperature
  • Heart rate
  • Skin perspiration
  • Motion (accelerometer)

All of the materials used have been rigorously tested and are non-allergenic, safe, and do not emit harmful radiation – making sure your child is safe when wearing it.
